Brava Desktop
The standard (S) Brava Desktop reads imaging formats like TIFF, CALS, PDF, CSF, CGM and HPGL, as well as drawings from CAD programs like AutoCAD and MicroStation. Files can be viewed, printed and measured. Different versions of drawings and image files can by compared side-by-side to highlight changes. Files can be saved to CSF, PDF, TIFF and DWF formats. There are two add-on options: Inso (I) for office document formats such as Word and Excel; Markup (L) for annotate and redact. With the Markup option, you can annotate and redact a file in Brava Desktop, publish it with the markup to CSF, and send it to another user to be viewed with the free Brava Reader. Markup or redlining is a means whereby co-workers can indicate changes to be implemented by other co-workers. The markups are held in another file or layer, so that the original file is untouched. Brava Desktop is written in ActiveX and runs as a standalone Windows desktop application or as an ActiveX component inside a web browser. Concurrent network licenses are available. The licensing and installation procedures for this software require you to be online to the Internet and for your computer to have a network card. Special arrangements are available for customers who have a firewall.
Please note that Brava Desktop TX, TXL, DXS and DXP products are only
