GTXImage CAD
GTXImage CAD enables engineers and architects to work with raster images of scanned drawings. The software intelligently recognises raster for what it represents (lines, arcs, text, etc.) so that the user can draught just as in a conventional 2D CAD package. A wide range of raster formats is supported including TIFF and CALS Group 4. Vector data is generated in DXF or DWG formats. GTXImage CAD enables the user to edit the raster image, which can then be saved or printed. The editing process is similar manual draughting. Draughted lines, arcs, circles, splines, text and symbols are burnt back to raster. GTXImage CAD allows the user not only to edit raster, but to draught 2D vector entities such as lines, arcs, circles, splines, hatching and text. Hybrid raster/vector files can be saved and printed. GTXImage CAD Plus has all of the above-mentioned functionality plus the capability to convert raster entities into vector entities. This is achieved by intelligent, automatic recognition of raster entities as 2D CAD vector entities such as lines, arcs, circles, polylines (contours) and text. CAD entities can be assigned a Z-value for constant elevation. GTXImage CAD Plus uses artificial intelligence techniques to recognise raster as text characters. GTXImage CAD is based upon the AutoCAD 2004 OEM engine. Call Second Source for a demonstration CD
