GTXScanClean

Scanned documents are almost never perfectly straight. Speckles can appear in an otherwise clean image. Depending on the scanner contrast and quality of the original document, solid areas of raster 'noise' can also appear.

GTXScanClean™ automatically straightens and cleans your documents, removing speckles and noise without losing valuable data: NO OPERATOR IS REQUIRED by this AutoClean™ technology. This improves legibility and overall quality of your scanned documents. It also increases the accuracy and speed of character recognition post-processing where this is required.

GTXScanClean runs under Windows 95/98/200/NT on a 300MHz Pentium PC or higher, with 64 MB RAM memory, 3 MB hard disk and 128 MB swap space.

Scan file formats supported include CALS Group 4, TIFF including multi-page TIFF, Intergraph CIT, and many more. The Engineering version handles both small and large format documents including engineering drawings. whereas the Office version is designed for small format documents up to A3 size.
